Exceptional. The John Lewis of car dealers
It’s not often that you feel reassured when buying a used car, but Paul did just that from the outset. He was friendly, polite and pretty much fell over himself to help. He returned calls when he said he would and, when I did buy the car, he drove it round to my house! (we do only live round the corner though so bear this in mind) I haven’t had any issues with the car but what I did pick up on when viewing it, he had put right at clear cost to himself. Great experience all round, excellent service
I recently purchased an Audi TT from Paul, from start to finish it was a great experience. He was friendly, in no way pushy when viewing the car, happy to take a long test drive and all round a pleasure to deal with. Informed me of extra warranty that was available and the benefits of it but again he didn’t give the hard sell, it was just available if wanted. Paperwork all sorted out quickly and easily. Truly used car dealing how it should be, I don’t hesitate to recommend him.
Honest and relaxed experience
I recently bought an MR2 from Paul and was most impressed by the level of service and quality of his stock. Right from the start we had a long phone conversation over the phone about the car and Paul was very honest and informative. When I arrived the car was as said and I part X’d my Nissan Duke. Excellent after sales care
I recently popped in to test drive a Vauxhall Agila at Paul Riley’s Cars. Once there I saw 2 others that were also suitable and he was happy to let me drive all 3 in a row. I choose one of the cars to buy, a 2011 Peugeot 207. What really impressed me was that he was really helpful in sorting out a small issue with the air con that became apparent once I had driven the car. He took full responsibility straight away and got the car sorted quickly with a local garage so that I could use it as soon as possible. Buying a second hand car can be a minefield, but he showed that really good after sales care is just as important as the car itself. I now hope for years trouble free driving.
